About Counselling

Counselling is a form of talk therapy that enables individuals to explore their emotional and practical needs, gaining a deeper understanding of themselves to support their life’s path.

People often question whether their concerns are significant enough to warrant seeking help from a counsellor - but there’s no need to wait until you are at a breaking point to seek support. Counselling can help with relationship complexities, coping with grief, low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and more.

Nicola Fleming

I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, registered with the BACP. Through my training I have acquired a toolbox of skills to support clients on their unique paths. My initial attraction to counselling stemmed from witnessing the consistent positive impact it had on people’s lives during times of adversity.

Central to my counselling philosophy is the unwavering commitment to offer compassion and kindness, providing a non-judgmental and confidential space where individuals can feel understood and heard. This foundation holds remarkable power in providing support. I am dedicated to assisting individuals in navigating their emotions, promoting self-awareness, facilitating self-acceptance, and nurturing personal growth.

‘Ensuring your emotional well-being is a pivotal aspect of your overall health, and this is precisely where Clinic 51 excels. I believe that comprehending the emotions experienced during this significant stage for women can enrich their overall quality of life.’
