Our team
Dr Katie Armstrong:
Founder, Clinic51
I founded Clinic51 to offer an holistic approach to women’s health. Being an NHS GP with 20 years’ experience and a busy working mum in my 40s, I understand the impact hormones can have on a woman’s life. I firmly believe that we should not have to be at the mercy of our hormones; that women should continue to be happy and healthy, throughout their reproductive life, through the menopause, and beyond.
I studied medicine at St Mary’s Medical School, Imperial College and have been a GP partner and chief officer of the local Clinical Commissioning Group. Whilst going through my own perimenopause and practising as an NHS GP in Pulborough, I developed a particular interest and specialism in the menopause, and went onto train with The British Menopause Society and The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. It is very important to me that we only offer the safest and most effective evidence-based treatments.
Most importantly, I care about what matters to you, and about finding the approach that suits you as an individual.
I have extensive experience of women’s health issues including women suffering with the symptoms of menopause over 60, under the age of 45 and women with a history of breast cancer.
Our Clinical Team
Our team of doctors all have a special interest in women’s health and the menopause, alongside related specialisms both within and outside the NHS.
As a team we regularly share our knowledge and best practice.

By understanding the interplay and influence of habits and lifestyle choices, I teach them how to take ownership and accountability to live their life with purpose and compassion.
